Krüger would start the car from the 15th grid position and show great early form during the first race of the 2015 Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge Series season. About midway through his stint, the serpentine belt would break apart due to debris on track, which the team quickly addressed and returned to the fray some eight laps adrift from the front runners in the field. Murcott jumped in and was immediately up to pace with the race leaders, however it became apparent that when the belt came apart earlier, it also damaged the differential cooler hose, creating a slow leak which ultimately ended the teams day earlier than anticipated, but still with a solid 17th place finish in the competitive Grand Sport (GS) class. The weekend didn’t start as planned with losing a transmission during the first practice, but the team rebounded and gave us a good car for the race.
