Windows 10 2004 just hit a major milestone

Microsoft has Windows 10 version 2004 to the next phase of rollout, declaring it "ready for broad deployment", six months after it was released. The shift in status means that this version of Windows 10, which Microsoft released in May 2020, is ready for everyone to install. As of February 3, 2021, Microsoft says: "Windows 10, version 2004 is designated for broad deployment. Customers with Education and Enterprise editions of Windows 10 1909 have until May 11, 2022 before this version reaches end of service, Microsoft notes. The move from Windows 10 2004 to 20H2 (version 2009) was made faster via an enablement package.
