Streamline’s SmartCare EHR Successfully Supports FASAMS Version 14
Summary
FASAMS was implemented in early 2019 to facilitate the coordination of care for persons receiving behavioral health services through their managing entity. Streamline has played an integral role in the testing of version 14 as they were part of the pilot program with the state and the managing entity, LSF Health Systems. Since Starting Point was one of the first Streamline clients to successfully make the transition to version 13, using SmartCare EHR, they previously went through the rigorous process and learned a great deal. Starting Point Behavioral Healthcare provides mental health and substance abuse treatment services to children, teens, and adults in Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia. Streamline delivers web-based software for healthcare organizations to provide and coordinate specialized behavioral service delivery processes.
