The products that we all design are varied and as such is their complexity – from locks to motorcycles to ketchup bottle to generators, etc. If it’s taking a long time, the software is trying to reconcile a discrepancy and there may just be a large number of objects to review, and/or there may be some corruption. As time progresses, technology is faster, smarter, and overall better – Meaning you need to get things done on tighter timeframes, so you need Windchill to move as fast as possible. A word of caution – remember to update to the latest once it is available to Check-Out or you may revert changes made from the last Check-In.
