▤ Summary

During the meal, the waiter came over and explained that he would not be able to serve the key lime cheesecake as it was frozen and, therefore, temperature inappropriate. Lab folks tend to look for simple solutions but apparently other people don’t think the same way. But then I look up and see the manager coming at us, leaping across the table tops, seeking to snatch the piece of cheesecake from my hand! Upon arriving at our table, he literally grabbed the plate out from under my fork and scurried back to the kitchen. While disappointed, I did manage to eat most of that piece of cheesecake and asked for take home containers for the rest of it and my meal.
