Meet the six startups in second cohort of GE Healthcare India accelerator

Chicago, Illinois headquartered GE Healthcare has launched the second cohort of its India startup collaboration programme. The six healthtech startups chosen for the India Edison Accelerator will be mentored and offered strategic partnerships to co-develop healthcare solutions with GE’s engineers and scientists, a statement said. The second edition of the programme focuses on technology solutions aimed at streamlining healthcare delivery across verticals, such as advanced imaging and visualisation, precision diagnosis and treatment, computer-aided detection and diagnosis, point-of-care diagnostics, remote patient monitoring, virtual hospitals, data management and insights, and asset health monitoring. “The aim of this programme is to harness the brainpower of the startup ecosystem to develop solutions on the Edison platform for some of the toughest healthcare challenges existing today. The programme will offer a zero-equity cash-in-grant of $10000 (Rs 7.3 lakh) to each startup, along with access to mentorship, skill development opportunities, commercial and regulatory guidance, as well as data provision.
