Reforestum gains €750k investment to take forward its reforestation initiative - Funding

The Spanish forest conservation enterprise Reforestum announced securing €750k investment from 13 angel investors across UK, Spain and France on 22nd December 2020. The freshly raised funding will help the organization to scale their remote team and in the development of their interactive platform for addressing the consumer demand. People can measure their own impact on the climate change using the carbon footprint calculator present on the platform and offset by starting their own forest. The chief revenue officer and co-founder of Reforestum, Alan Bressand said, “We are observing a real hike in the willingness of organizations in Europe to take action and make investment in nature-based solutions for meeting their net zero targets. Reforestum is developing an end to end solution with the help of our partners for creating a strong link from the forest ecosystems financing to the final consumer paying for the offset with the products they purchase.” Reforestum originated in 2017 with the mission of connecting and empowering organizations and citizens for the common goal of improving the climate change situation by the Restoration and production of earth forest ecosystems collaboratively for a healthy safer and better future for us and the next generation.
