Female-founded interior design tech firm sizes up expansion with £700k investment
Summary
Tech-enabled design service My Bespoke Room has secured £700k in funding from a range of angel investors, including high-net worth individuals from Angelgroups and Connected. Founded in 2014 by Diana Greenhalgh and Laura Simpson, My Bespoke Room was launched in a bid to provide an affordable easy-to-use online interior design service. Laura Simpson, co-founder of My Bespoke Room, explained: “Globally, we are all spending more time in our homes; not only are they becoming more important to us, but we are demanding more from them. “There has been very little investment in our space to date, and we are very excited about our growth and our newly launched SaaS product that allows other designers to have a piece of our magic; to set up, run and grow their own businesses.’’ Martin Avison, founder of Angelgroups, commented: “Our angel investors seek out disruptive technologies that challenge the status quo. “It’s been a pleasure to aid them in their fundraising process and we very much look forward to continuously supporting them in their journey.” Looking to promote your product/service to SME businesses in your region?
