Unexpected Delivery 12-18-2020 - - Hints from the Bench
Summary
I had to laugh this morning when a young, pregnant friend of mine said that she was going to be induced this weekend. Her mom was getting some premie baby clothes and diapers together and was taking care of what she could. We have so many reports and spreadsheets for all kinds of data that we forget that each number and statistic actually represents a human life. When I fill out an information sheet at a physician’s office or hospital and I have to answer questions that have no relevance to my illness or physical condition, then I know that I am just a number that will be crunched through analysis so that I can be a statistic in someone’s report. What I really want is a treatment (cure) for an illness or to be given a clean bill of health by my provider.
