Payso wins OCE FinTech Investor Pitch Competiton

New to the conference this year is the Discovery FinTech Investor Pitch Competition. Representing the newly Toronto-based startup was Natalie Cartwright, Payso’s COO. “I am very grateful to the OCE – both for giving early stage FinTech companies a forum at the Discovery Conference and for this incredible prize,” Cartwright told BetaKit. “Our entire team has been working flat out to bring innovative payments options to Canadians – it’s an amazing feeling to have that work recognized.” The five finalists were required to make a 10-minute presentation followed by a 10-minute question and answer session, and were evaluated on overall pitch quality and content.
