Size Control

Imagine I want to make a desk to save and export so that I can use it in Blender or Poser or Daz or whatever. So the computer desk Im composing this at measures 60"w x 24"d x 30"h. I have my grid fixed (itd be nice to make that something I could set one in the config and have it apply to new projects without having to set it every time - hint, hint) at 1 spacing so I can build my model desk to the appropriate dimensions. What (if anything in Anim8or) can I do to make sure it shows up the right size when I go to put a character behind it in one of the rendering programs mentioned above?
