[EMBARGOED]Services start-up CORPORATE Lanturn announced Thursday that it has raised US $ 3 million in seed funding. Individual investors have joined them, including fund manager Alex Turnbull, who is the son of former Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull; Saki Georgiadis, Managing Partner of RVP Equity; Tan Meiyen, Head of Oon & Bazul Law Firm in Restructuring and Insolvency; Chris Kelly, who heads the mergers and acquisitions practice at White & Case law firm in Asia; and Foo Tiang Lim, partner of the Southeast Asia SeedPlus seed fund. Lanturn Managing Director Velisarios Kattoulas noted that cloud technology can make business, accounting and other services more efficient. This is why the startup has continued to invest in its Zave platform, which gives users easy access to documents and enables Lanturn to use its customers’ data to help them run their businesses more efficiently, added Mr. .
