As most of you might have guessed, NVIDIA will have a presentation today starting at 6PM CEST, 1st September 5 PM BST where it will present its new generation of consumer graphics cards, the GeForce RTX 3090 and GeForce RTX 3080. Ampere will feature 2nd generation Ray Tracing cores and new 3rd generation Tensor cores as well as support for PCI Express 4.0, HDMI 2.1, and DisplayPort 1.4. Early leaks have indicated the GA102-300 chip being based on a 7nm fabrication process, having 5248 shader cores at a frequency of 1695 MHz and 24 GB of GDDR6X memory and a 384-bit memory bus.
