Edison Software Offers New Anti-Phishing Plan For Consumers

General News

Summary

The product is built on “AI-based anti-phishing technology,” states Mikael Berner, CEO, and co-founder of Edison Software. Despite the availability of BIMI (Brand Indicators for Message Identification), only 2% of email senders, including fewer than 100 of the Fortune 500 have valid DMARC ((Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting, and Conformance) configurations, the company claims. This includes SPF and DMARC validation for determining the origin of an email and whether or not it is a permitted sender and domain owner. Edison Mail+ also includes Spam Blocker, a tool for blocking calls and texts from strangers or overly persistent senders. “Just as you wouldn’t leave your front door unlocked for strangers to walk in, everyone should have confidence that scammers aren’t arriving in your inbox, waiting to strike,” Berner advises consumers.
