Summary
The program will cover modeling of complex physical and cyber-physical systems, as well as tools, for a wide range of research and industrial applications. Modelica is a freely available, equation-based, object-oriented language for convenient and efficient modeling of complex, multi-domain cyber-physical systems described by ordinary differential, difference, and algebraic equations. As vehicles have become ever more complex, integrating electro-mechanical systems into the driving experience, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) by necessity have had to review and update development processes. Whilst a robust answer to the question of how to deploy models across different simulation tools, it does present a new skill and another variable for users to understand. An off the shelf vehicle slalom experiment is taken from the VeSyMA – Suspensions library and with minimal pre-processing, exported and deployed as an FMU within Simulink.
