Best way to strengthen balsa - RC Groups
Summary
On the bottom of the rudder section, Im planning to strengthen it as I already broke it while building. Only CA glue holds that leading-edge part of that rudder. Currently, it has a sliver of clear packing/parcel tape. If it lands and scrapes the grass it seems fine but there are instances where it hits a branch or thick grass and might shear off the bottom part. Ive thought of a little bit of resin or CA it further so the glue gets absorbed by the balsa wood.
