WayForward is bringing Shantae: Risky’s Revenge – Director’s Cut to Switch & Xbox One; will also release repro carts and Switch versions of two classics

This is a big day for fans of WayForward’s Shantae games, so long as those folks happen to have an Xbox One and/or Nintendo Switch. Through press release means, the developer announced that Shantae: Risky’s Revenge – Director’s Cut is in the works for Switch, Xbox One and Windows 10. This updated version of the half-genie heroine’s second game will be released onto those devices this coming fall, and purchasing it will set you back ten American dollars before applicable taxes. WayForward also revealed that repro (Game Boy Color) carts will be made for both Xtreme Sports and the first Shantae game. Both titles will also be released onto Nintendo Switch.
