Ive read much of this thread, but to tell the truth, it is kinda still pretty foggy. However, with an antique collecting habit, I have bought a few, in need of repair, vintage pond sailers that I have resold. Have a young club nearby, but (because of the chinese virus) have had limited conversation. Have good woodworking skills and plenty of tools, so will likely build one - bought both the Emma and the Annie plans. I know next to nothing about sailing - in fact the only time Ive been on a sailboat other than at a boat show, is on a feluca on the Nile in Egypt.
