Returning to RC after 35 years - RC Groups

I have one plane left from those old days and thats a COX Piper Turbo Arrow III (plus its TX, RX, a couple servos) and every time I looked at its box over the years, I thought: "Id like to get back to RC, someday. Ive read many of your threads on the subject, especially the ones designed to teach us E-Flight newbs about modern TXs, RXs, Gyro Stabilizers, ESCs, EDFs, LiPo batteries, Chargers, and More. Great memories!As a teen, I used to fly COX 1-channel and 3-channel RTF & ARF foamies -- mostly,to fly (between waiting for proper sky conditions and making adjustments to the planes).I have one plane left from those old days and thats a COX Piper Turbo Arrow III (plus its TX, RX, a couple servos) and every time I looked at its box over the years, I thought: "Id like to get back to RC, someday. "Well, after decades off, my someday has arrived.Im really excited by how far Electric Flight has progressed.Ive read many of your threads on the subject, especially the ones designed to teach us E-Flight newbs about modern TXs, RXs, Gyro Stabilizers, ESCs, EDFs, LiPo batteries, Chargers, and More.WOW.
