Receiver switch on large electrics? - RC Groups
Summary
With large electrics, people often go for a separate receiver battery. Building in some redundancy is also done. Somebody who actually knows this stuff will hopefully chime in.... Modern systems apparently let you, for example, plug one battery straight into the receiver, and another to a "hub" that delivers signal and power to the servos and also back to the receiver. With high power, an arming plug or switch is often used, so you arent immediately "loaded" when you connect the battery.
