Linux Mint 20: Still the best Linux desktop despite one quirk

While there are a handful of 32-bit packages retained for Steam games and Wine, which provides Windows application interoperability for Linux, Mint 20 has dropped mainstream 32-bit support. Clement "Clem" Lefebvre, Mints lead developer, explained, you cant use the 19.3s update manager because "the process will be completely different since this is a new major version and a new package base. " If, unlike me, you dont run your own file and cloud servers, Mint now comes with its own easy-to-use local area network file-sharing program: Warpinator. At the same time, though, Mint no longer supports Ubuntus Snap software packaging system. These include Firefox 77 for web browsing; LibreOffice 6.4.2 for your office needs; and Thunderbird 68.7 for email.
