Wing sheeting treatment. - RC Groups
Summary
I have experienced warping problems of 1 mm balsa wing sheeting in the past. Probably due to the high humidity level changes in the climate where I live. Can anyone recommend a suitable treatment for the sheeting prior to fitting it to the wing framing? I am wondering about spraying it lightly with clear acrylic lacquer. I will have to follow up with adhesive tests after the "lacquer" dries, to ensure compatibility etc.
