Return winch for glider tow line - RC Groups

▤ Summary

We at SAM 1788 in Aus fly OTime gliders at our competitions , and tow them up with electric winches. This is very labour intensive with people having to walk 250 meters to get the line from the turnaround and then drag it back for every flight , very slow . I suggested a winch return and it was a success but was destroyed in a fire shortly after . I was asked to build one to replace it and this is the result of a few days work in the workshop . From a 10/15 min turn around between flights to 1 minute at the worst I hope .
