Hi All, Ive only been part of these forums for a short period of time but unfortunately it seem like many discussions get distracted by politics or personalities. Whilst I enjoy flying my aerobats the biggest joy of competing is getting away for a weekend with a bunch of guys with a common interest, camping out, talking BS and generally having a good time. Last weekend a bunch of us in SE Queensland managed to get together at the Tin Can Bay Model Club for a casual catchup, have a fly and generally chill out. Most notably theres a scale event at Casino in August so I am hoping the border is open by then. I invite all of you to share you "good news stories" of aeromodelling in Australia.
