JTM Viperjet Heat Damage Repair - RC Groups

Originally posted in the fuel jets forum Hello friends, I had a bad day a few weeks ago. Im looking for some advice on how to repair my JTM Viper after my K30 start up and decided to be a flamethrower instead of a jet engine after over 20 flawless starts. I was running a single wall pipe, and apparently my BVM heat shield and aluminum tape was insufficient to protect the skin from the jet of flame inside the pipe. Luckily all of the flames stayed going down the pipe and I was fast with the CO2 fire extinguisher so the damage is limited to the aft of the fuselage. Mostly the paint is just bubbly but theres about a 1inch diameter spot on the starboard side that the fiberglass has lost its integrity.
