Flier esc setup - RC Groups

Ok, I am about to need to setup this esc that I bought on here from Par 18. From what I have seen in the instructions it looks like only default I would need to change is timing to 30 degrees for the XPS outrunner. I have bad hearing to make it worse and instructions keep referring to the unit making deferent tone and musical sounds for different settings. Also the esc comes with the anti spark resistor wired on the negative side. Only other experience have had with electric fans is my little 3s f-16 which required no setup just plug the reciever and battery and go fly.
