Does R9M Lite work with Taranis X9 Lite? - RC Groups

I have this question and the title says it very clear. I couldnt find any review, or YouTube tutorial on trying them together. I know it would be better to buy the R9M Lite Pro module, since it is officially supported, but I cant get it from Europe at a nice price and a package from China would take years to arrive. Seller has told me that both module and receiver are flashed with FLEX, and my Taranis is FCC. Should I have to reflash module + receiver into FCC or do I need to flash my Taranis marking the Flex option in Opentx Companion?
