Summary
I kept with the original design except for the following: I used carpenters wood glue and CA instead of Duco Cement (this was from 1972) I changed the aileron hinges since there are better available now. Field assembly eliminated the fishing line and instead I fashioned brass keepers (see photos) Other than that, it is how Lou Proctor designed it. So calm in the sky!I kept with the original design except for the following:I used carpenters wood glue and CA instead of Duco Cement (this was from 1972)I changed the aileron hinges since there are better available now.Modified for electric power.Field assembly eliminated the fishing line and instead I fashioned brass keepers (see photos)Other than that, it is how Lou Proctor designed it. Everything else is spruce, plywood and bamboo (which is extremely strong and hard).It came in at under 9 pounds, with almost a pound of lead in the nose, custom formed (see photos)But the most intriguing part for me is four ailerons being controlled with a single standard servo in the fuselage.
