Legend Capital Leads New Round In Chinese Background Check Platform iBeiDiao

iBeiDiao, a Hangzhou-based employee background check service platform, has raised tens of millions of RMB in a series B2 round financing, led by Legend Capital, with participation from existing investors FutureCap and Frees Fund. After iBeiDiao is authorized by the candidate through the "electronic signature + face recognition" method, the investigation task is executed according to the standard process. iBeiDiao hopes to upgrade the original labor-intensive background check service to a more standard and digital experience through product design. In April of this year, iBeiDiao launched the smart background check terminal product-Lanchabao, which is aimed at flexible employment and blue-collar market such as housekeeping, car-hailing, hotel catering and logistics, to provide differentiated products for customers with different characteristics. On the one hand, it will increase investment in artificial intelligence fields such as machine learning, back check models and deep learning library construction; on the other hand, it will establish more fine-grained and targeted delivery and service standards in key industries such as fintech, real estate, and healthcare.
