FrSky could update their receivers to comply with new security requirements - RC Groups
Summary
FrSky could update their receivers to comply with new security requirements The format of this message is a WiFi BEACON frame. The feature consists in getting the receiver sending periodically a BEACON message over WiFi channel 6 on telemetry transmitter. Of course, for RF robustness, the FrSky hopping table allocation should remove channel 6 (20MHz bandwidth centered at 2,437MHz) from the selected reception entries. Thus, if ACCESS or even better ACCTS receivers could support this upcoming feature this would make FrSky ahead of any other RF manufacturer. This is for sure if a GNSS receiver is hooked over S-Port.Of course, for RF robustness, the FrSky hopping table allocation should remove channel 6 (20MHz bandwidth centered at 2,437MHz) from the selected reception entries.
