Low CG for stability and control - RC Groups
Summary
Initial test glides were good and thoughts of a plank style wing using hang glider stability tricks swam in my head. Looking at the bracing wires on the glider in the video below Im thinking that the wires would prevent the pod moving side to side so its possible/likely that the pitch yoke is split and he turns by pushing and pulling on separate handles for roll. I made a plank style flying wing with a non reflexed airfoil which used a very low CG location to provide pitch stability. And yes that is a lead ball drilled through and threaded on a piece of threaded 4-40 rod to adjust the glide.Initial test glides were good and thoughts of a plank style wing using hang glider stability tricks swam in my head.
