TriggerMesh Expands EveryBridge Cloud Native Event Bus to Enable Event-Driven Applications on Every Infrastructure
Summary
The platform allows developers to accelerate digital transformation efforts by integrating cloud computing, SaaS, and on-premises applications including legacy systems. Unlike iPaaS solutions including Dell Boomi and Mulesoft, TriggerMesh focuses on application event flows with a cloud first mindset. “Events are the substrate of cloud services integration and serverless applications in particular,” said TriggerMesh co-founder and Head of Product Sebastien Goasguen. “With EveryBridge, developers can easily describe application event flows and operate them the Kubernetes way.” The preview release of TriggerMesh EveryBridge includes a new API that defines so-called Bridges and a set of initial targets aimed at well known SaaS offerings - Twilio, SendGrid, Slack - but also infrastructure related targets like Tekton and AWS Lambda. TriggerMesh is the only solution that has the ability to ingest events from any data source and trigger functions on any cloud or serverless cluster running on Kubernetes.
