iCIMS Acquires Data Science Firm for New AI Product

In a statement providing by iCIMS, IDC Research Director Megan Buttita said the combination of Opening.io’s “robust native engine” and iCIMS’ existing AI and customer database “will yield extremely powerful machine learning capabilities.” The resulting product should help employers become more efficient throughout the talent acquisition process, improve workforce planning and aid diversity & inclusion efforts. “By casting a wider net, employers can surface candidates they may not have considered previously, which will support them in building a diverse workforce,” Buttita said. In February, the company joined Ceridian’s Dayforce Software Partner Program and began working on an integration with Ceridian’s HCM solution.
