The 6.25 release passes the most rigorous cybersecurity and interoperability testing by the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC)-led CS Test Teams Callware Technologies, Inc. (Callware) announces the release of its flagship product Callegra.UC 6.25 JITC, an enterprise solution that provides voicemail, unified messaging, auto-attendant, text-to-speech (TTS), voice recognition, and voice/fax message access from the telephone, Microsoft Outlook, or the Internet. Dialogic Brooktrout SR-140 FoIP supports AS-SIP integrations for both T.38 and G.711 pass-through, allowing the use of Callegra.UC without underlying voiceboard or fax board hardware. Miscellaneous Features New to Callegra 6.25 – – Windows Outlook 2019 is supported – The LumenVox Voice Rec server runs on Ubuntu Linux, integrated with the media server – Configuration of call integration and processing is now tied to the pilot number called and not to specific ports – Configuration related to non-sip telephony is removed – Configuration UI is added for Time-Of-Day routing – Port usage for out-dial and client calls is configurable as a percentage of the overall ports – Several Codecs are not currently supported but we might add as needed, as part of GStreamer media, which includes: G722, G723, G726 – Storing audio as raw 16-bit .pcm files (still named .vox, .nox, .grt – Expanded the CC BoxCache to include file cache mode and memory cache mode and no-cache mode – It still has pre-load and threshold capabilities Items that have not changed – – The DC, CC, CC UI services, and applications still run on Windows – ClientServices, WebAdmin, CallegraWeb still run under IIS on Windows – Still using Brooktrout fax on Windows – Rencii SCP to transfer files to and from the media server – The HTTP upload/download handlers – NCT Audio to transform audio to and from .wav – AudioCodes gateways to integrate with TDM – An AudioCodes gateway for AS-SIP compatibility for Brooktrout Fax The Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) grants Callware Technology, the Interoperability (IO) certification for the Callegra.UC 6.25 JITC solution (Callegra.UC). On January 9, 2020, the Risk Management Executive (RME) recommends the solution for the Department of Defense Information Network (DoDIN) Approved Products List (APL) based on the Cybersecurity (CS) testing completed by the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC)-led CS test teams.
