Meijers Giant Glider (48.43" ws) Conversion to RC - RC Groups

This thread probably could be in a better place, but it is foam, and we are scratchn it to be RC, and eventually powered for self launches.Here are some of its unspoken or printed attributes;1. Very smooth finish - This foam feels like an EPP, but with a very smooth high density surface finish.3. Light weight - 184g with decal sheet.This neat model which is sizable is just begging for RC conversion. My thoughts for equipment are;Servos - 3.7 to 5g, two to start with.Rx - micro to miniBatttery - 350-500 mAh 2s Lipo, for motor additon configuration. That way we can keep the CG without having to move too much around.ESC - 10A brushless - to power the servos and receiver and the we all have them and the aforementioned reason above.Optional Motor - 1306 - 1806 2200-3000 Kv multicopter type.The pictures will tell the rest of the story for this post.Ken
