Looking for a basic FC - RC Groups

Lots of RC experience, was RC car racing the last 5 years, but I dont see racing coming back any time soon. My kit came with zero instructions, so I struggled getting the FC up and running - havent flight tested yet, so it might not be right . I see my FC is pretty old, I believe it has a F1 processor which is not supported by current versions of Cleanflite or Baseflite. I would like to get a current flight controller, but my needs are pretty basic - LOS only, no racing, no FPV at this point. Ive been in RC airplanes and cars for 30+ years, but all this FC programing is new and a bit overwhelming, so Id like to start with something current and not too complex.
