IoT firm Aeris strengthens India leadership with hires from Intel, Vodafone Idea

Aeris Communications India division has been hiring top leaders from companies such as Intel and Vodafone to strengthen its executive leadership in the country, as it looks to expands it business after the launch of its cloud-based software solution called Aeris Mobility Platform. The company said it has hired Ranjeet Koul as the vice president and country manager for Asia-Pacific and Middle East regions from Intel Corporation. For the post of India and SAARC sales head, the company has hired Sameer Mahapatra from Vodafone Idea who has a total experience of 20 years. The new hires also include Ravi Asawa, who will join Aeris as its chief financial officer from the NDTV Group; Vishal Bhatia, who will join as vice president of product management; Rakesh Gupta as vice president of global services from Impetus Technologies; Gaurav Jain as the vice president of global security operations center from Aircel; Rajeev Arora as vice president of IoT customer solution deployment from Aircel; and Navneet Sharma as vice president of quality and development. Earlier, in an interview with TechCircle, Bhatnagar had said the company is filling the IoT solutions gap in the country by providing connectivity management platform, cloud-based enablement services and analytics to enterprises.
