Rumor: iPhone 4G Will Be Taller Than Predecessors [PICS]
Summary
iPhone repair shop iResQ claims that it has the front panel component of the next iteration of Apples iPhone, and it has posted a few photos to demonstrate a couple of ways the handset will differ from its predecessor. If these pics are legit, then the new iPhone will actually be one-fourth of an inch taller than all of the previous three models. iResQ also observes that the front panel has a "reflective, mirror-like surface" near the top of the phone, and speculates that this is a relocated proximity sensor. If you are, it shuts off the screen to save battery life and to avoid blinding you with light. If Apple is planning to launch a new iPhone this year, it will likely be announced at WWDC this June.
