Semtech Wins Mining Equipment Developer
Summary
Camarillo-based semiconductor developer Semtech says it has signed up a maker of mining equipment to use its LoRa wireless networking technology. According to Semtech, Transco Industries, a developer of mining conveyer equipment, has implemented its LoRa devices and wireless radio frequency technology into its conveyer belt applications, for safer monitoring of those devices. Financial impact of the win were not announced.
