GlobalLogic opens new Indian headquarters in Noida
Summary
The current priority of the new headquarters is to attract and upskill talent while creating more skilled jobs in the region, the company said in a statement. Sumit Sood, vice-president and managing director, Asia-Pacific, GlobalLogic, said that interwoven new-age technologies would have a huge impact on productivity for the businesses of tomorrow. “The time is apt for companies like ours which have expertise in deep design skills and software engineering to help deliver the next generation of highly intuitive, hyper-personalised digital experiences,” said Sood. The 220,000 square foot, seven-storied facility, which will seat the engineering and design teams of GlobalLogic, has been certified as a LEED Gold Green Building, which translates to better energy savings, water efficiency and reduced carbon dioxide emissions. In 2017, Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB) said it would acquire minority stake and joint control along with Apax Partners of GlobalLogic.
