Kapsch CarrierCom Selects OneAccess' NFV Software Suite

EKINOPS announced that the NFV software suite of its subsidiary, OneAccess, has enabled Kapsch CarrierCom (KCC) to create an open, multi-vendor virtualization solution for Telco operators and large enterprises. Kapsch CarrierCom, a Kapsch Group company, is a leading global producer, supplier and systems integrator of end-to-end telecommunications solutions for public and railway operators, urban transport organizations and companies seeking real-time asset management solutions. This enables Kapsch to offer Telco operators and large enterprises a scalable, future-proof and fully open uCPE solution that can support a variety of different customer-defined deployment models, from a ‘thin uCPE’ to one hosted in a datacenter. After a successful Proof of Concept with a major service provider in 2017, the partnership is now engaged in its first live project.
