Usabilla raises $1 million to make user-feedback tools | VentureBeat | News | by Ciara Byrne
Summary
Usabilla, a Dutch startup producing web site usability tools, raised $1 million Wednesday in a round led by local venture fund Boralis and five undisclosed investors in Europe and the U.S. Usabilla helps marketers, analysts and designers define usability tests and collect user feedback. Reviewers can make notes on a webpage and add colored pins to show whether they find particular page elements appealing or not. As the test results to the right show, the problem users are having with the sample web site is the leopard print (or at least it should be). Usabilla’s competitors include UserTesting, Kampyle and remote testing services Feedback Army and Loop 11. Its subscription fees range from free to $129 a month for tests involving up to 200 participants.
