AMI announces 2020 scholarship program

This year marks the ninth anniversary of the scholarship program providing financial assistance to students with a disability. Information and eligibility requirements for the 2020 AMI Scholarship program and complete rules and regulations are available at www.AMI.ca/scholarship and www.amitele.ca/bourse-ami-tele. Two $5,000 bursaries will be awarded to two deserving students with a permanent disability; one from the English community and one from the French. The recipients of the 2019 AMI Robert Pearson Memorial Scholarship were Victoria Lacey of Toronto, ON, and Léonie Côté from Quebec City. Operating three broadcast services, AMI-tv and AMI-audio in English and AMI-télé in French, AMIs vision is to establish and support a voice for Canadians with disabilities, representing their interests, concerns and values through accessible media, reflection and portrayal.
