Universal not attending SDC/IOC 2020 due to COVID-19 concerns
Summary
As COVID-19 continues to spread rapidly around the world, the health and safety of our employees, customers, and partners is our top priority. With that in mind, and after careful consideration and an abundance of caution, Universal has made the difficult decision to cancel our participation in this year’s SDC and IOC 2020 conferences. SDC and IOC are events we love, and NBAA and the SDC/IOC Committees do an outstanding job of hosting these. We also want to acknowledge the extremely difficult position NBAA and the SDC/IOC Committees have been put in due to an unpredictable and quickly evolving situation. Moving forward, as business aviation professionals, and as anindustry, we must challenge ourselves to focus on what is most important – remaining able to service those who need us for their critical missions that “move organizations that move the world.” On behalf of all of our Universal Team around the world, we want to share our heartfelt thoughts, prayers, and best wishes that you, your families, and friends remain safe.
