Central Council of Tlingit and Haida Indian Tribes of Alaska announced the promotion of John Hawkins Jr. to Tribal Transportation manager. Tungul has worked in Alaska’s transportation and logistics industry for two decades, with a 17-year tenure between the former Horizon Lines and Matson. She formerly served as the chief financial officer for the Municipality of Anchorage, and as the executive director of the Arctic Slope Regional Development shared services center. Prior to that, Mahoney was a director with KPMG LLP, managing its business consulting practice in Alaska. Sitnasuak Native Corp. announced that shareholder and former board director Charles E. Fagerstrom as CEO effective Feb. 5.
