Holographic rainbows make chocolate look more delicious - CNET

General News

Summary

A company called Morphotonix in Lausanne has figured out a way to create holographic patterns on its surface -- without using any additives at all. This means the holographic effects are actually created out of chocolate. This has microstructures etched in that use texture to diffract light, creating the holographic effect. Sometimes it works great and sometimes no matter how hard we try it doesnt mould," Morphotonix CEO Veronica Savu told New Scientist. The company is currently working to bring the product to market in collaboration with a German chocolate mould manufacturer.
