Chrome OS 80 is reportedly finally beginning its rollout, delivering a couple of fixes, app sideloading, and a bump to the Linux container. But its appearance behind Stable Channel flags is promising and the new tab strip could arrive fairly quickly, pending the discovery of any bugs. Chrome OS 81 is slated to arrive on March 24, giving Google just shy of three weeks to get its affairs in order on that front.
