DIT Computers stopped accepting service requests in mid-November and a visit to their Omaha location revealed a lone employee sweeping out their bay. Over the years the growth of online sales and web-based mega-stores providing discount PC parts cut into DIT’s once profitable margins. After DIT Computers Omaha closed, its website started redirecting to a business services IT company in Urbandale. It appears that DIT’s Urbandale location was sold or transferred to Dymin Systems, although that can not be independently verified at this time. This is a continuation of the consolidation of local computer repair companies that Thor talked about on his radio shows in January.
