Tradeweb Announces New Chief Technology Officer

Peterson joined the company more than 20 years ago and currently holds the role of Managing Director, Head of Institutional Technology. “Justin is a proven leader who possesses a deep understanding of the markets we serve, the technology that sits under the hood and commercial objectives that drive the business,” said Lee Olesky, CEO at Tradeweb. During his tenure, Spencer helped broaden the company’s global footprint beyond institutional markets and pioneered the development of emerging technology in pursuit of continued growth and expansion. In his new role, Peterson will have global responsibility for all software strategy and development, client integration and infrastructure advancements including managing Tradeweb’s complex security systems. Prior to joining Tradeweb, Peterson held senior roles with Citibank and NYNEX Science and Technology and developed computer-aided design tools at Hughes Aircraft Company.
