In an SEC filing, the Greensboro-based information technology focusing on healthcare data said it has raised $2.6 million with 31 investors participating. MD Interconnect had focused on secure mobile communication technology for use by healthcare providers. “We both focus on secure referral management and other web-based solutions that eliminate the technology barriers created by incompatible devices, systems and networks – linking people and practices securely across any inpatient or outpatient setting. And with MD Interconnect’s mobility experience, we now have the opportunity to offer an expanded set of capabilities to both our new and existing customers.”
